You may also pay in full online by using your Visa or Mastercard. You must complete the camp application and provide parental consent when you apply online. Online registration for St. X Sports Camps is provided by a third party vendor. An additional processing fee will be applied to the camp price.  No refunds will be provided for online registration. Any refunds or reimbursements will be handled by the camp staff of the St. X Sports Camps.

Dad’s Football Clinic

St. Xavier High School – Home of the 2005, 2007 & 2016 Ohio Division I State Champion Bombers – presents the 2018 Dads’ Football Tailgate Friday, July 27th, 2018.

All Football Dads (including 2022 Dads) are welcome & encouraged to attend!

5:00 p.m. Registration & ‘Tailgate’ – (On the concourse of the stadium)
Mini Camp will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. in the stadium. All are invited to attend and watch the 2018 Bomber’s Football Team’s last mini-camp practice.
7:00 Clinic in the Reynolds Room (1558-1560)

Program Philosophy: Coach Specht will discuss the philosophy of the Bomber football program and the expectations of the players from the daily rituals of the football team to the rules the players must follow and adhere to in and out of season. He will also go through an in depth look at the increased focus on safety including equipment fitting and the art of the tackle

Wellness and Safety: Athletic trainers, Mike Gordon and Ken Rushford, will discuss the methodologies and structure of the training room and the steps taken to ensure better care for our football players.

Strength Training & Nutrition: Strength & Conditioning Coach Terrell Williams will discuss the components of his strength programs and the expectations for every player. A brief Q&A session concerning nutrition, weight gain and/or loss, and general overall conditioning will be conducted.

Q&A with Members of the St. Xavier Coaching Staff: Members of the St. Xavier Football Coaching Staff will be on hand to discuss the program and answer any questions you may have.

Clinic Fee: The fee includes a 2018 Dads’ Clinic t-shirt and instruction from the St. Xavier Football Coaching Staff. Pre-registered fee – $40.00 each; walk-up registration fee – $50.00. This fee is non-refundable.

Track and Field Summer Lifting

We would like to invite all students who are or are considering Track and Field to continue to improve their strength and fitness during the summer months.  The program will be run by Coach Ivan Fulton, as we continue to strive to reach our full athletic potential.

Where: Saint Xavier Weight Room

Who: Open to all current or future Track and Field Athletes

When:  Summer Tuesday and Thursdays from June 5 – June 26 / July 3 – July 24, 9-10:30 am – 8 weeks

Volleyball Camp

Summer Volleyball Camp 2018
Directed by: St. Xavier Head Coach Bill Ferris and Staff
June 25-27, 2018

This camp is open to boys entering the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades in the August 2018 school year, and is not limited to students who intend to attend St. X for high school. Camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis, so register early.

Facilities: The camps will be held on campus at St. Xavier High School and will utilize St. X’s Intramural Gym with access to three full volleyball courts.

Daily Schedule: The morning session will be for 5th-8th graders and will run from 9:00 AM—12:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday, June 25-27. The afternoon session will be for incoming 9th graders and will run from 1:00—4:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday, June 25-27.

What to Bring: Campers should bring good gym shoes, kneepads if desired and a decent sized water bottle. Plenty of volleyballs will be available at St. X.

Grade School Camp: This year’s grade school volleyball camp will be divided into two groups in order to achieve more age specific instruction. One group will consist of 5th and 6th graders while the other group will consist of the 7th and 8th graders. Focus in these sessions will be on the basic volleyball skills of passing, serving, setting and hitting. This camp is open to all students in any grade school.

Incoming Freshmen Camp: This camp will focus on the more advanced skills necessary to compete at the high school level in the Cincinnati area. Focus here will be on more advanced serving, passing, setting and hitting drills. Some blocking and conditioning drills will be incorporated into this camp as well. This camp is open to all students entering the 9th grade in 2018 and is not limited to only St. X students.

Staff: Current and former members of the St. Xavier volleyball program, and coaches with many years of high school experience will staff this camp.

Cost: The cost for the camp will be $80 per player. This camp fee includes a camp T-shirt for all participants. Families sending two or more athletes to the camps may receive a $15 family discount.

Age Level:

The camp is open to all athletes ages 10 thru 17 years of age.

Equipment needed:

Camper’s own bowling equipment is recommended but not necessary for this camp. Brentwood Bowl does have bowling equipment available for camp members.

Cost:

$120.00 per camper. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is required with application. Balance is due when you report to camp. Former campers will be given a $30.00 discount.

The Camp:

This is not a recreational camp. The aim of the St. Xavier Bowling Camp is to give campers the finest bowling instruction possible. You will also be associating with some of the best young athletes in the Cincinnati area. Bowlers will learn to compete on challenging lane conditions.

This camp is limited to 30 individuals

Freshmen Weight Room Orientation

The following dates have been set aside for the group orientation programs. The program will last roughly 60 minutes and will walk the students through all rules, regulations, proper technique on exercises, how to spot, how to clean, and all other policies of the facility.

Monday, March 19 7-8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 10 7-8:00 p.m.

Thursday, April 19 7-8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, May 29 7- 8:00 p.m.

Thursday, May 31 7-8:00 p.m.

The cost for the program is $10. Participants can sign up online  or by turning in the attached paper work to the St. Xavier Athletic office with a check made out to St. Xavier High School. If your son is unable to make one of the group orientation sessions, an individual appointment with Ben Yauss must be scheduled. Please note that those times will be limited.
